Hi, I’m Candace. Welcome to And Then There Were Books, a blog about the books I’m reading! I’ve always loved to read. From a young age, I was captivated by the stories that unfolded within the pages. I can vividly remember stumbling upon my mom’s Agatha Christie collection when I was thirteen and being completely engrossed in each and every mystery. As I grew older, I discovered my mom's Phyllis Whitney books, and the thrill of reading continued to ignite my imagination. Despite the demands of a busy life, my love for reading has never waned. With a full-time job in healthcare leadership and two kids who are both involved in sports and pageants, finding time for reading can be a challenge. However, I refuse to let these responsibilities dim my passion for literature. That's why I've created this blog – to commemorate the books I read and the memories they evoke. As a reader, I don't limit myself to specific genres; I am a seeker of all tales, whether they be ones filled with adventure, mystery, or romance.
